Educational Technology provides leadership and direction for the effective implementation of educational technology services in Bellingham Public Schools, including library media centers and online learning.<\/p>\n
Library Media Centers<\/strong> Online Learning<\/strong> Computer and Network Services\u00a0<\/strong> Technology Levy<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n The current technology levy was approved by voters in February 2020. This four year levy is effective January 2021; levy collections and related projects occurred through December 2024.<\/p>\n Technology Resources for Families<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Bellingham Public Schools\u00a0is committed to preparing students for a rapidly changing world. We realize that our students need guidance as they learn to be critical thinkers, respectful and compassionate humans, and honest citizens in digital spaces.<\/p>\n Printing and Digital Services<\/strong><\/p>\n Printing and Digital Services provides services ranging from copying, DVD\/CD duplication and videoconferencing for the Bellingham Public Schools and educational partners. Printing costs are very competitive and turnaround time is timely and responsive.<\/p>\n Staff members can submit printing and other reproduction requests by visiting the\u00a0print shop intranet page<\/a>.<\/p>\n
\nLibrary Media Specialists\u00a0at each of district’s schools coordinate the integration of information literacy and digital citizenship skills into instructional programs.<\/p>\n
\nThe Educational Technology\u00a0office coordinates the development and implementation of online learning in the Bellingham\u00a0Public Schools.<\/p>\n
\nComputer and Network Services personnel support students and staff in the use of technology resources. There are three integrated operating elements: the district data center, the Help Desk support team, and the network services support team.<\/p>\n
