Reminder: Promise Award Nominations Accepted Until 5 p.m. on Friday, March 7

We are excited to celebrate staff and volunteers in Bellingham Public Schools with our annual Promise Awards, which are tied to the vision, mission, core beliefs, key strategies and outcomes of The һapp.

Nominations may be submitted for:

  • Above and Beyond Service Award(classified staff)
  • Community Partner(a community nonprofit or parent organization that provides a volunteer, unpaid organization)
  • Collaboration Award(any individual employee or team)
  • Compassion and Service Award(any individual employee or team)
  • Great Teaching Award(certificated staff)
  • Outstanding Leadership Award(principal, asst. principal, directors, asst. directors, managers)
  • One Schoolhouse Award(any individual or team)
  • Volunteer of the Year(any individual or team that provides a volunteer, unpaid service)

Nominations are scored by members of thePromise Awards Advisory Groupand award recipients from the previous year, using a scoring rubric based on The һapp. Visit our Promise Awards webpage forawards information and timeline.
