A Message from Lowell Elementary School
Staff, families and community members may apply for consideration to serve on the听Lowell Elementary Site Enhancements and ADA Upgrades Committee.
Interested individuals are encouraged to听apply by 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20.
We are forming this committee to help determine priorities for revisions to Lowell Elementary School鈥檚 exterior and interior that facilitate safety, security, inclusion and accessibility to the highest standard.
This committee will:
- Review current building and site conditions concerning accessibility and safety, considering the circulation needed for school operations.
- Consider sustainability in relation to the district鈥檚 climate action plan and sustainability priorities.
- Provide recommendations on the total scope of work for interior and exterior elements to meet the district鈥檚 standards for accessibility, inclusion, security and sustainability.
The committee will meet regularly from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays Jan. 29, Feb. 12, Feb. 26 and March 12 if needed. You can learn more about this group on the committee webpage.
