This is a regional organization that provides support and information to parents of gifted children. It continues to help parents enhance and hone their parenting skills. It gives them tools to speak out for an appropriate gifted education and deal with this learning difference we call giftedness.
WAETAG is a non-profit Washington state organization which supports the education of gifted and talented persons through an annual conference for professionals and with a web site and newsletter filled with resources relevant to gifted youth and educators. Join this network of dedicated and concerned professionals who are continually striving to better meet the needs of gifted and talented youth in Washington State.
The Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth identifies and develops the talents of the most advanced K-12 learners worldwide. As part of Johns Hopkins University, CTY helps fulfill the university鈥檚 mission of preparing students to make significant future contributions to our world.
NAGC staff and leaders support and develop policies and practices that encourage and respond to the diverse expressions of gifts and talents in children and youth from all cultures, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and socioeconomic groups. NAGC supports and engages in research and development, staff development, advocacy, communication, and collaboration with other organizations and agencies who strive to improve the quality of education for all students.
SENG鈥檚 mission is to empower families and communities to guide gifted and talented individuals to reach their goals: intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
